AP Coilovers - Audi S3 Quattro Mk1 (8L chassis) 1999 onwards. AP Coilovers were developed by one of Europe's leading suspension manufacturers, in order to offer a superb quality coilover kit with a more budget friendly price tag. If you are looking for quality coilovers, but can't afford the likes of KW and Eibach, then AP is for you.
AP coilovers have been designed to ride firmer than the factory fitted suspension. The damping is approx 25% stiffer and gives a firm yet forgiving ride. The springs are powder coated blue and the kit also benefits from built in bump stops, helper springs and shorter piston rods which also help provide a smooth ride.
Please note that the damping rate on these AP coilovers is not adjustable. Lowers by 30-50mm on the Front & 30-50mm on the Rear. Maximum Axle Load is 1040kg on the Front and 1050kg on the Rear. Front and rear axles have threaded height adjustment. Wheel spacers might be necessary if original wheels & tyres are being used. Up-rated 25-30% over original damping rates. Firm yet comfortable ride suitable for fast road or mild track use. Short heavy duty piston rods. Helper springs prevent spring dislocation when car is jacked up.
