The ridecontrol version replaces the manual damper adjustments with a two-stage electronic adjustment controlled by Bilstein's own electronics and button. Bilstein have tuned "Normal" mode for comfort. These ride exceptionally well for coilovers, perfect for around town or poor road surfaces.

Pushing the "Sport" button, changes the valveing inside the dampers to a firmer setting and unlocks all of the performance driving potential of this set-up. Perfect for everything from a British B-Road to a blast round the Nordschleife. The monotube coilover design of the Bilstein B16 offers excellent resistance to the sort of fade that can affect a twin-tube design during sustained hard driving, particularly on track.

The spring seats have around 20mm adjustment range using the threaded adjustment knobs. The edge of the thread on the housing is round and the housings are coated with Bilsteins own trademarked triple-C technology for outstanding corrosion resistance. These features are designed to keep the coilovers adjustable and stop them seizing (with proper maintenance).
